That time of year is descending quickly. Time for Alaska's National Guard troops to gear up for Operation Santa Claus. Join us at the Alaska Aviation Museum's increasingly popular monthly lecture series for a peek at the inner workings of an Alaskan holiday tradition that puts smiles on people all over rural Alaska. The November lecture series is set for 6:30 PM on Monday, November 16, 2015, at the Alaska Aviation Museum.
This will be the 59th year of Operation Santa Claus. The lecture will include historical perspective on the exercise and "tons of logistics" on the operation. Main speaker is the new chair, April Gettys.
